His book educates readers through the past, present, and future of cleantech post-pandemic and offers practical tips for those interested in career opportunities, or those curious to learn more.
Benoy Thanjan
Benoy Thanjan is the Founder and CEO of Reneu Energy, as well as an advisor for several solar startup companies. Reneu Energy is a premier international solar energy consulting firm and developer, and the company focuses on developing commercial and industrial solar, as well as utility-scale solar plus storage projects. The company also sources financing for solar projects and hedges both energy and environmental commodities.
Benoy received his first experience in Finance as an intern at D.E. Shaw & Co., which is a global investment firm with 37 billion dollars in investment capital. Before founding Reneu Energy, he was the SREC Trader in the Project Finance Group for SolarCity, which merged with Tesla in 2016. He originated SREC trades with buyers and co-developed their SREC monetization and hedging strategy with the senior management of SolarCity, to move into the east coast markets. Benoy also worked at Vanguard Energy Partners, Ridgewood Renewable Power, and Deloitte & Touche.
Eric Pasi
Since 2007, Eric has helped organizations create revenue and meet sustainability goals with IPS Solar. As a company they carved out a niche in Midwest commercial rooftop and community-based solar development, focusing on our clients’ best interests.
Over the last 13+ years he has helped to accelerate significant solar power development in Minnesota and the upper Midwest. Taking on the Chief Development Officer role in 2016, he has contributed to growing annual revenues by more than 1000%.

Benjoy, I would really appreciate a conversation with you to advise me about how to successfully grow our commercial and industrial customer base in Illinois, Missouri and Texas. In Texas we know people who own many thousands of acres and want to go solar and they make money off solar. In Illinois and Missouri in good conversations with business owners to go solar. One specific area is finding a good financing relationship for commercial and industrial customers. Dave 630-605-9655.
